Oh, so beautiful! I love how the snow transforms every leaf, and twig, and blade of grass into a little work of art. As a new knitter, I have to ask, is Greta's hat hand-knitted? It is lovely, and looks so cute on her little head :-) Karen
AM, snow in Oakland was surreal, indeed. I drove the kids to their nature class and snow was falling off the roof onto the windscreen. The meadow at the park where the class meets was covered in snow.
Karen, it was a once in a decade transformation according to our neighbors. We feel so lucky to have seen it.
The hat is indeed, hand knit--by my brother. None of my hats made it to completion.
A white Christmas in Oakland? Koyaanisqatsi!

I heard there was snow up there, but didn't drive up to see it. Next time, let us know...
