Tween Safari

The camera makes everyone a tourist in other people's reality, and eventually in one's own.
-Susan Sontag

Patience was wearing thin in the back seat.  Feet and hands were straying across heavily defended borders.   So I handed back my camera.  Giggles ensued.  And this is what I found when I took the pictures off.

So there you go, you have been a tourist in the reality of three tween girls in the backseat on a long car trip. How 'bout them nostril hairs?

What wonderful pictures! Your girls have learned to fill the frame - most adults could take a lesson from them.

Yes, I didn't crop them at all. I guess it helps you fill your frame when you are strapped in a seat right next to your subject.

I have a feeling that this is exactly what would happen if I gave my boys the camera...
Good fun!

See, this is the difference between tween girls and teen girls. Teen girls would never allow such unflattering shots of themselves.

And I'm not sure I would either.

Here's to flaunting your nose hairs!

-I- think they're very flattering.

You have the art of distraction "down-to-a-T." Good idea with funny results.
